Tomb of Raphael son of Chermon
The burial tombstone of that precious man, a beautiful staff, of glorious stature, a man straight in his dealings, happy, good, of humble spirit, of those who bestow kindness, venerable and worthy, he passed on to his world and was gathered unto his people, his time came and he was no more, he was taken to the graves, to the place of his repose, and his end is to dwell in the place of his living. His final resting place is in a land of desert and pits, a land of drought, and he is entombed in the depths, in a place of darkness and gloom, in hollows of dust from whence he was formed, until the coming of that most glorious of the days of the year, the time that the Shaper of all existence shall declare, and then shall rejoice all that dwell in the dust, this is his precious name, Raphael son of Chermon, a pure soul, whose light dimmed on the 18th day of Shevat in the year 5710 (1950), and the days of his life were 93 years. May his soul be bound in the bonds of life.
